HOME OF MAINE COON KITTENS Cattery is the family passion of my family.
HOW DID IT ALL BEGIN?My mother grew up with animals and she showed us how to care for them, to take care of them, to love them, and to respect them as well. She has history with medical and veterinary experience, so this lends our cattery a lot of safety and stability. We are very thankful for that.
Growing up in TEXAS , my sister and I shared our knowledge and love for animals; especially cats. We would rescue many strays and find homes for them, or keep the ones that we absolutely couldn’t give away. So one day, we heard about this cat exhibition taking place in VIRGINIA - and after attending, we saw these magnificent cats and were completely fascinated...you guessed it, they were called Maine Coons.
I started researching about Maine Coon history, learning about their personality, characteristics, bloodlines, genetic disorders, grooming, showing, and of course breeding. I started talking with Maine Coon breeders all over the world. It was very important to me, obsessive I suppose you could say, to educate myself as much and in depth as possible about this fascinating breed.
It wasn’t very long until we were blessed with our very first registered Maine Coon kitten, Arthur. We were absolutely in love with him. We felt very special to be Maine Coon owners. We also participated in our very first cat exhibition, and learned a lot about the world of showing and grooming.
One night, our family had a very serious talk about starting a cattery together. We were feeling confident enough about it, since we had educated ourselves about the Maine Coon breed and their standards. With our combined medical knowledge, feline experience, and most important - our unconditional love for this breed, we were ready. We decided to start a Maine Coon cattery.
THAT WAS IN 2012- 13. A LOT HAS CHANGED SINCE THEN.
Unfortunately, there are far too many breeders who live exclusively from their cattery’s income, or believe they can somehow get rich from a cattery - which inherently means that they cannot practice breeding in a fully ethical way, nor can they justify spending money for all of the required health examinations, high quality food, and the list goes on. Not to mention the high output and terrible living conditions they ask of their breeding stock. Long story short, "business catteries" cut corners in ways that are so unethical it would make your skin crawl.

HOW WE LIVE
Our cats live freely with us, in our home. You won't find any cages, and we do not allow our offspring kittens to live in a cattery or home where there will be cages. We want a cage-free environment and we want our cats to have as much room as they want. They live with us because they are part of our family. In this way, we succeed in raising up incredibly lovable Maine Coons with the most calm temperament and non-aggressive behavior - always ready to cuddle with you!
Our active males have their own big space, separated from all the females. They do not spray, and do not fight. They live together peacefully and very harmoniously. The same goes for our females, and they alternate their time with "run of the house".
Either way, our houses have always had big spaces - filled up with homemade cat-trees, and all the necessities (plus extras) for a cat to be happy in it's daily environment.
We have 17 acres of land, both open and hardwood, separated into sections by two crystal clear creeks that never run dry .

THAT WAS IN 2012- 13. A LOT HAS CHANGED SINCE THEN.
- HOME OF MAINE COONS has moved across the world and USA.
- We have had the opportunity to work with amazing breeders from around the world, to mature and diversify our bloodlines with the very best from both European and American heritage.
- The fantastic experience of watching our Maine Coons - our babies that we raised from birth - go from little nobodies all the way to Champions or Supremes, participating in advertising deals, and overall becoming more famous than we would want to be ourselves!
- We have been incredibly fortunate to meet some of the most wonderful people as new homes for our kittens - ranging from all walks of life, and all ends of the earth - all over the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and more from all around the world!
- Having so many requests, every single day and from so many great people, is a humbling thing; we are grateful to all those who wait so long or come from so far away, just for one of our kittens. This tells us we must be doing something correctly and that's a great feeling.

Maine Coon cattery has been founded in 2008 and since then it is successfully working in growing of purebred Maine Coon cats. At the origin of the cattery there is a story of the advent of a gorgeous cat, which for her noble color has got the name - Pearl. The exceptional beauty, emphasizing the breed traits, has become the high start from which our life has started.
Home of Maine Coon is the monobreed cattery which is the part of FC "Alliance" and performs its tribal activities in accordance with the tribal position of the club. Focusing on the derivation of the one breed we have been able to achieve really good results. The breeding work with our pets is aimed at obtaining offspring with good health, stable psyche and the external traits which correspond to the standard. In addition, we are serious about preserving the historical looks of Maine Coon : it is a large, powerful and severe "farm" cat. Within the cattery Home of Maine Coon, there is the distinction of habitats of cats - so we control every mating, excluding the casual relationships. The country house, in which the cattery is located, helps us to accommodate all the pets according to the requirements of personal space. The pregnant Maine Coon cats and the newborn kittens live separately as they need around the clock care and control.
